7 Reasons Yors Business Isn't Succeeding

In this episode, I go into detail about the things that are getting in the way of your business success.

  1. First, you are buying into the busy culture. We have been trained to have an employee mindset. We have been trained to do more- to hustle! Our brains tell us the more work I do, the more success that I will have. Well…it’s about working smarter, not harder! We need to be able to delegate to grow and have more success.
  2. You are an entrepreneur, nit a business owner. Sometimes we have LOTS of great ideas, but maybe we aren’t so good at running a business.  Learn how to run a business.
  3. Your belief…what you are telling yourself about your results. it is important to learn how to see truth and maneuver through negative self talk.
  4. The next one can be hard one to swallow. Your issues are coming to the surface. Your insecurities, money beliefs, relationships, time management problems, all the weaknesses and beliefs in ourselves…etc. We tend to run when these things come up, when things get tough. We are human. Having a life coach or a therapist can help.  Bonus, being an entrepreneur tends to help you become a better version of yourself in many ways!
  5. We have the shiny object syndrome when it comes to marketing. Well…that didn’t work. What is next?  We go from one thing to the next.
  6. Often we are running a business from the perspective of a customer. We want to look good- we want to please people. Don’t tailor what you do to your customers perspective.
  7. The last one is trying to do things all on your own. We are sometimes afraid to delegate. However, you can’t do all the things and do them all well. Taking that leap of faith and getting help is essential. If you don’t you will burn out and you will cap your potential. I talk about hiring people when you can’t afford a lot. I also talk what you could hire out for.  When you train a new employee, make sure you write the steps down- not just verbally train them. This will not only help them, but it will help you in the future if you need to hire again.
