Emails: What to Write and How Often

EMAILS: WHAT TO WRITE AND HOW OFTEN

Growing and engaging your audience is easier than you think! You know you are suppose to have an email list, but maybe you just don’t know what to write about or understand why it is so important? In this episode, Emails: What to Write and How Often, you will learn how to become a better writer, grow your subscribers and connect with your audience. It is all doable, and manageable! Having an email list and being consistent is important if you want a thriving business. This episode is full of actionable tips and things that will help you as a business owner.

EMAILS: WHAT TO WRITE AND HOW OFTEN

Here are some of the things that I cover as I share my expertise and what I have learned about the importance of emails:

  • I talk about why email lists are important and necessary for a thriving business. Success in your sales is directly correlated with your email list.  Healthy emails=healthy business.
  • Knowing what you offer!
  • What to send your subscribers and tips to make sure that your emails are received well.
  • How your social media content should direct your customers ultimately to your email list.
  • What should you post about? Many examples and ideas are shared.
  • It is so important to connect with your audience. Sharing behind the scene, real life experiences, not always products, is essential. Your audience wants to know you, find things in common, get to know your processes. They want to know what you are doing and what is coming up next, what you struggle with (stay positive) and really they want to hear about your journey.
  • Bringing value to your audience and how exactly to do that is discussed.
  • How often should you post? When considering this, remember the purpose of your emails are to connect. You are wanting to form friendships with your audience.
  • How to write your emails! I share a great way to get used to writing in the way that you talk. Keep trying to nourish and grow your audience.
  • Don’t sweat the unsubscribes!

I am a Minnesota born girl living in Texas with my husband and 3 kids. If I could tell my 13 year old self I was a quilter, I would have laughed in disbelief.  However, a few years ago I discovered how cool quilting really is!  I want to share how cool quilting is with others.  Join me in my online modern Quilters Candy Membership, or check out my quilt patterns.  I even offer a course once a year teaching you how to write and sell your own quilt patterns. I am excited to be quilty friends!
