Creative business growth rarely happens in a straight line. Missy Luukkonen of The Little Green Bean is a perfect example of what can happen when you’re willing to change, learn, and keep moving forward.
Missy has spent the past decade building a creative business, but the business she has today looks very different from the one she started.
She began by leaving a retail job and making gnomes and burlap products. Over the years, The Little Green Bean has evolved again and again, eventually leading Missy into sewing, quilt patterns, digital products, and a membership.
What I especially loved about this conversation is how open Missy is about those changes. She hasn’t treated a pivot as proof that something went wrong. Instead, she’s paid attention to what was working, what wasn’t, what she enjoyed, and where she wanted the business to go next.
