The 2025 Front Porch Quilt Along is right around the corner, and I’m so excited to see what you create! Whether this is your first quilt-along or you’ve joined in before, I’ve put together some helpful info to get you started—including quilt kit links, tips for choosing fabric, and inspiration from past versions of the quilt.

The 2025 Front Porch Quilt Along is set to begin on Monday, June 30, 2025. Each Monday a new email will be sent to those who are signed up, and you will get tips and help with what we are focusing on that week.

Week 1: Fabric selection and preparation
Week 2: Cutting fabric pieces
Week 3: Block construction (3D Flying Geese)
Week 4: Assembling the quilt top
Week 5: Quilting and finishing touches

USING YOUR STASH

One of the best things about the Front Porch Quilt pattern is that it’s stash-friendly! I made my version entirely from fabrics I already had on hand—and it turned out beautifully.

Starting June 30th, I’ll be sharing tips on how to select your fabrics and walk you through the process I used to create the soft, gradient effect in my quilt.
